Sheila runs our Triage Service. Patients requesting an urgent appointment is referred to Sheila who uses her expertise to determine the most appropriate pathway of care. This may involve managing the patient herself, referring to another member of the Primary Care Team or referring to an external agency.

Julie is responsible for taking blood samples for testing as and when requested by the doctors.
She is
working towards NVQ Level 3 in care and smoking cessation advisor level 2.
The service is available between 8.45am and 11.15am Monday to Friday. No appointment is needed, but please bring the form given by the doctors.

Please note that the phlebotomist is not authorised to do any blood tests other than those authorized by the Doctors and Nurses of Shires Health Care.
 

Jayne Lyons - NVQ Level 3 in care and smoking cessation advisor level 2.
Health Care Assistant

Jayne is responsible for assisting doctors and nurses in their clinical work . She is responsible for doing ECGs, follow up blood pressure monitoring and also supports the phlebotomist.
