Complaints and Suggestions
We aim to provide a high standard of health care, which closely reflects
the needs of our patients. However, if you are dissatisfied with the
service you receive from any member of the practice team, please address
your complaint to the Practice Business Manager, Zoe Tennant.
Patients wishing to comment on the services provided should leave their
written suggestions in the box at the surgery entrance.
Practice Mission Statement
Our job is the care of the sick and the positive promotion of health in
our practice population.
We will therefore promote and provide the best possible health care for
our practice population taking into account the resources available.
We will do so in the continuing context of our unequivocal commitment to
the National Health Service.
We will respond to perceived health needs in the community and provide
appropriate services. We recognise the need to use resources of time,
skills and money wisely.
Patient Liaison Group
The practice has an active Patient Liaison Group which meet on a monthly
basis. The members have been selected from various sections of the
community, hopefully to represent all interests. The groups gives us
feedback about patient satisfaction and patients suggestions about further
improvements. Their Mission Statement is as follows:
To provide an opportunity for opinion sharing and encouraging two-way
communications between the practice and it’s patients.
Patients can contact the group to register their views in 2 ways. Patients
can send an email to
patient-liaison@shireshealthcare.co.uk and the message will
be passed on to the group, or send any comments to the surgery by post,
marked FAO: Patient Liaison Group.
